When Olivia comes to visit him after finding out Mellie is sleeping with Marcus, he gives her a yell-speech, as the Eli we know does. Back in his simplistic world of dino bones, he and his colleague are placing bones in their new lab when Eli discovers the tiniest of cameras.
The search turns up nothing, though. With nothing left, he takes some liquor and that album and seduces his colleague, but when he gets her into a closet, he holds her at gunpoint and demands answers.
She admits that people came to her and threatened her life so that they could get him. Their lead man pulls out a gun and kills one of his own men.
If Eli goes along with it, his friend Sandra lives. If not, well, maybe everyone will die?
