Jumong was very good. The character development was amazing to watch. The actor who played him did an amazing job. I, dont infact regret sayn that, these guys are more than ordinary actors n actresses. I guess i wil one day be in korea n ther i wil ofcoz b eager 2 meet yesoya n jumong bt big up mo palmo u did great.

I realy love dis movie called Jumong, am more interested in dis movie, i learn alot From dis movie, it make me strong. Jumong, oh yi, mari, Hy poe, maro, sho soe no, u are all did great work,. I remember now just get on with it! I love Sayong as I have a soft spot for him after watching him play as Chun Soo in the Korean series Dong Yi and I was astonished when i compared Soseono and Geum soon which makes me love the beautiful actress even more.
I have a sort of craze for Korean series but I always have to push myself to finish them as most have over 60 episodes with one hour long episodes and some episodes contain an hour of not much action. Vacation for the cast soon. They deserve it! Guest Bootylicious92 Posted February 28, The story envolves the start of Korea, when there were still a lot of small countries, tribes and villages. But one empire was getting big and it was the Han Chinese , the korean also had a big one which I forgot the name.
Jumong is the third prince of this one, and at the start of the drama its shown that he's not actually the son of the king, but the king's best friend old battle friend , he made Jumong's mother his wife concubine, since the king already had a queen. It seems that Jumong is not aware of his greatness until he gets envolved in the battle to become the crown prince, his older brothers hate Jumong because the king seems to care more him and his mother.
Twist in the story, Jumong meets the daughter of an important trader and its the incident that I mention before. And as the story goes, she saves him and later he saves her, and became friend, then lovers. But, they don't stay together Kind of weird to explain, but due to a turning point of the story, she is forced to get married as believing Jumong was dead since she can't marry a dead man.
But he wasn't and he cames back when she is already married, really bad timing, but some said that the drama needed some foot of the true story at least, so made them separate. Well, and Jumong also gets married and both of them have kids with their respectives husband and wife. Which they both lost them in battle Soseono's husband die and Jumong's wife and son disappear believing they're dead - they do come back in the end though.
Both of them seems to be longing for their lost relationship, but it only "seems", there's a war going on here! And I believe in the drama they both love each other until the end. But obviously Soseono's love is greater, his is the dream of his parents and his destiny to become a great king. As quote in the drama he tells her that he will left a part of his soul always with her, and after he's gone she said to herself that she gave her whole soul to him.
I will talk about Jumong's character later since envolves the whole drama, and talk about Soseono's. She's a strong woman, her dad taught everything about the hard business of trading, which is dangerous and powerful.
Her father wished for a son, but came a daugther, so he decided to raise him like a boy, giving her independence and free will, so she became a beautiful, smart and strong woman.
A key whole for Jumong's growth to a king, along with his parents, she helped him when he was still a loser, and much later wtih her trading skills. She loves him for who he are and for the man he wants to become, and helps him to achieve it, bringing her people prosperity and she's the first queen of Korea well, I think.
I like it because it's not an irracional love, I quote a part od the drama when noth of them are in danger and may die soon, she said she would let her soul in his hands, she trusts him and believes in him, not denying her principles, really She even refuse 'til the end the first son prince who is a villain , who really want to make her his wife. Oh, and it was kind of sad when they met again after we all found out that Jumong was alive, because she's married!
And she tells him, she will forget him and he should do the same!
