He was a son, a father, a husband, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a friend, a coach, an athlete, an educator, a storyteller, a jokester, and above all else, a family man. He was a man that knew no boundaries for the happiness and safety of his wife, children, and grandchildren. Russ never met a stranger, and oddly enough, he knew someone everywhere we went.

From his days teaching in the inner city of New York, to the summer he spent tending to the horses on a farm, and the years and years he spent in veterinary pharmaceutical sales. His professional home was Falcon Creek Middle School where he was an original staff member and lovingly referred to as Dean Russ, the Mayor. Russ met his wife Carol in Both had an interest in education, being outside, and anything that could possibly be a house pet.

Ultimately, the two of them shared an interest in each other and marriage. Russ loved Carol and was so proud of the woman and mother she was and continues to be. He also spoke endlessly of how proud he was of her skills and passion as an educator. For over forty-two years, they were the example of a strong marriage full of love, respect, and collaboration.

In , Russ and Carol welcomed their daughter, Jamie. Russ embodied what a husband should look like and ensured that Jamie knew how her marriage to Braun should be. And in , Russ entrusted Braun to take care of his little girl. Brian has always been the calm, collected child and adult and has shown his dedication professionally as Lieutenant with the fire department.

In , Russ gained a daughter when Brian gave his heart to his wife Tiffany. He is a devoted husband to his wife, and father to his three children, Addy, Camden, and Luke. With the lifelong modeling of how to love and protect his family, Brian has excelled in honoring his father. Russ enjoyed his life and found time for many hobbies. In his younger years, Russ was a collegiate athlete in both basketball and baseball. He spent summers as a camp counselor and would travel between New York and Florida frequently.

He enjoyed to golf, but probably enjoyed the company of a foursome even more. His years of playing sports allowed for a seamless transition into coaching, which he continued to do for well over twenty-five years.

Russ found great happiness in all parts of his life, but he was happiest when coaching Jamie or Brian on the court, or the countless other students who had the pleasure of playing for him over the years. He was always a coach that cared more about his players than he did about winning or losing. Russ also really enjoyed taking care of his yard at home.

He would plant dozens of trees every year, some of which survived. Of all the places in the world, Russ would choose to be at home in his yard surrounded by his family and his dogs. We can all take comfort in knowing that Russ loved hard, loved honestly, and gave everything he had.

Add your memories to the guest book of Russell Paul Marron. A consular decree on 2 nd December declared that the Saint- Louis du Louvre church should be set apart for the Protestant community. But in , Napoleon decided to have the church demolished because he wanted the Louvre to form part of the Tuileries.

He placed the Oratoire du Louvre at the disposal of the Reformed Church. The new church was inaugurated and the first official service held on 31 st March Marron was the pastor of Saint -Louis du Louvre then of the Oratoire du Louvre until his death in Marron was sometimes considered as an opportunist because he appeared to pander to each government in power from Louis XVI th onwards — indeed he sent tributes, in verse or in prose to their leaders. But one must consider the fact that his position as a pastor at that time was certainly a difficult one.
